Some guys are working on a new project called Table Connect to bring the iPhone's interface and multitouch capabilities to a 58-inch table (yes, a 58-inch table!). You will be able to connect your iPhone into this table using a special cable so you can use your iPhone touch screen on a screen of 58-inches, imagine it!
Here's what the guys over iPhoneTable says:

We are about to put the final touches on the "iPhone Table" prototype. Table Connect for iPhone is what you have been waiting for, multitouch on steroids! So, the project is currently under development and will be demoed in two days. Stay tuned for the demo and the announcement of this wonderful table. For me, I will get a one, what about you? [via iPhoneitalia]
For now, we start with mock-ups as well. Currently, we are finishing up the work on the alpha release software for the table.
The iPhone is attached via the standard dock connector – immediately after it is attached, the magic starts to happen. The entire content of the iPhone’s screen will be projected onto the multitouch table, still giving full access to all the touch gestures using multitouch technology.
VLC for iOS May be Pulled from the App Store
VLC, the popular meida player that's developed by French 3rd party studio Applidium, has landed on the iPad in September and then on the iPhone last week to play almost any video. But as noticed by iLounge, it may be pulled from the app store very soon for some reasons explained below.
Apple has been sent a formal notification of copyright infringement regarding the way VLC for iOS is distributed in the App Store. Rémi Denis-Courmont, one of the primary developers of VLC, explained that Apple’s iTunes Terms and Conditions don't allow users to install both free and paid apps on more than 5 devices. This goes against the original GNU license VLC's code is based on.

In any case, while the rules for distribution of open-source or "free" (as in speech) software are extremely relaxed, they do exist and have to be abode by. VLC and open-source software in general would not have reached their current quality and success if it had not been for their license. Therefore, blatant license violation cannot be tolerated at any rate. Concerned users are advised to look for application on more open mobile platforms for the time being. So, in case you don't have the app already on your iPhone, better get it now as it still available here for free.

Apple Passes RIM and Becomes the 4th Mobile Vendor in the World
The latest statistics from the International Data Corporation (IDC) in the Q3 this year shows that Apple bypass RIM and take over the fourth spot on their list of global mobile phone vendors, thanks to the great success of sales of iPhone 4 in the last few months.
The reports shows that Apple has shipped 14.1 million by the end of the third quarter of 2010. Of course Nokia tops the sales with 110.4 million shipments followed by Samsung and LG. Of course you have to put in mind that Nokia, LG and Samsung have wider range of sales than Apple including lots of mobile phones and smartphones. Apple is the only company that has one model on the market which is the iPhone. So, Apple still my number 1, what about you?

The Banned White iPhone 4 Promo Video [Humor]
We all knew that Apple has delayed white iPhone 4 for three times, first when it announced it in July, then in August till later this year and from about two days until spring 2011. We also got some reports that it was canceled by Apple. So, while waiting for a 'white iPhone 5', let's have some fun with a banned white iPhone 4 promo video.
If you waited for the white iPhone, you’re an idiot. You’re a stupid human being who has waited 5 months for a phone that’s a different color. That you’re just gonna put a cover on anyway. So you’re a fool. In fact, why don’t you go get an EVO or something? Or a Droid. 2. They apparently does.

iOS 4.1 Critical Bug Lets You Bypass Passcode Lock [Video]
There's critical bug found in the iOS 4.1 of the iPhone 4, this bug lets you bypass iPhone 4 passcode lock and allows you to make calls and access contact information. There's a simple technique for how to do this, you just have to lock your iPhone with a passcode then press emergency call and type a non existing number (as ###). Next tap the call button and immediately hit the lock button. It should open up the Phone app where you can see all your contacts, call any number, etc.
Here's a video showing how it really works:After your iPhone passcode is unlocked you can make calls, send emails, you can see the entire list of contact, recent call history and voicemails. Well this is an highly crirtical bug in iOS 4.1, it might be a risk for so many people. So, Apple, you have to say something about this and fix it immediately ! [via 9to5mac]

On an open wireless network, cookies are basically shouted through the air, making these attacks extremely easyFiresheep opens a sidebar in Firefox that shows everyone who is connected to a certain unsecured WiFi network. With a single click, you can connect to most any social network using that person's user name and password.

iTunes 10 featured ping, and we also know that Facebook is also integrated in Ping with the other products, this might also be as aspect of investment rumor. According to Mashable:
Leading the potential round will be Digital Sky Technologies (an existing investor) and Apple. Yes, Apple. The funding is part of a partnership between the two companies that will eventually result in deep Facebook integration into Apple’s suite of products, including Ping, iTunes, iLife and iWork.
This news was just a Rumor till later. But it was confirmed by the Facebook Director of Corporate Communication "Larry Yu". He tweeted the following:
@Scobleizer — hi. there’s no truth to the rumored “series e” financing round that Mashable wrote about. trying to get them to clarify
This means that Apple is not going to invest in Facebook till now not for ever! [via TNW]
