VoIP Bug in iOS 4.2 Golden Master
According to MacRumors, Toktumi the company behind the well-known VoIP application Line2 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad has sent an email to its users warning them from upgrading to iOS 4.2 due to a new bug founded in this version which results in the ringer continuing to ring even after a call is answered when Line2 is running in the background.

iOS 4.2 Compatible Apps Started to Appear in the App Store
Some apps (iTunes Link) in the App Store claims to be iOS 4.2 compatible suggesting iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users shouldn't wait long for the new update. The rumors are spreading everywhere about iOS 4.2 release date in the next couple of days so we may consider this rumors are true.
Besides, iOS 4.2 Game Center apps are being approved, this also confirms it's very soon. Though Apple hasn't officially confirmed the release date of iOS 4.2 but we believe it will be sometime next week starting from November 8th. We'll keep you informed whenever Apple pushes the update !

Skyfire Web Browser Started to Get Back into App Store 'in batches'
Skyfire's back! Sort of. After being approved in the App Store and started to be removed gradually from some countries and then world wide, the company has removed it because it was 'SOLD OUT'.
We are going to open batches of downloads for new users over the coming days. The first batch will be in a few minutes on the Apple App Store. It will be first come, first serve.Now that it got 48 hours to increase their bandwidth and it will open batches of downloads for new users over the coming days, according to the CEO via blog post. He has also confirmed that it's available in the U.S. right now and other countries would follow shortly, leave us a comment in case you got it in your country!

Apple is Removing Skyfire Web Browser from the App Store
It was just a couple of minutes when we reported about the release of Skyfire web browser for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The app works as a Flash player for iOS devices by converting Flash content into HTML5 and sending to your device to work as HTML5 content.
Unluckily, Apple started to remove the app for some reason we don't know! as the reports on Twitter form users live in other countries as Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Italy, and Greece can't get Skyfire web browser for iPhone as it's been removed. In case Apple remove Skyfire from all countries, it may get on Cydia for the same price or something cheaper. Stay tuned as we'll cover the news about that one!

The user experience was performing well for the first few hours, but as the surge continued, the peak load on our servers and bandwidth caused the video experience to degrade.
Thus we are effectively ‘sold out’ and will temporarily not accept new purchases from the App Store. We are working really hard to increase capacity and will be accepting new purchases from the App Store as soon as we can support it.

Flash Coming to iPhone Next Thursday
Apple has just approved a new iOS application from Skyfire which converts Flash-based video to HTML5, according to CNNMoney. The App scheduled to hit the App Store by the next Thursday. The app technicality based on activating a function that allows Flash video content in the browser to be sent to Skyfire's servers to be converted to HTML5 then sent back to your iOS device for display.

Yahoo Messenger 2.0 for iPhone Hits the App Store with Video Calling Over 3G
As we reported that Yahoo Messenger for iPhone will support video calling to PC, here it happens. Yahoo Messenger for iPhone has received a major update and it's not a normal update. This update brings a very special gift — enables video and voice calling over 3G, and not just phone to phone, but phone to computer and vice versa.
Furthermore, the new update brings free voice calls to other Yahoo Messenger friends, supports background multitasking, and more. But it doesn't support video calling (FaceTime) using iPod touch 4G.

Yahoo! Messenger App For iPhone to Offer Video Chat to PC
Couple of days ago, we informed you about iMovicha app to enable FaceTime calls from iPhone to PC or Mac and vise versa. Today, an interesting report from Reuters claiming that Yahoo is planning to offer a free mobile app version of Yahoo Messenger with built in video calling capabilities for both the iPhone and Android.

The free app, will be available for both iPhone and Android phones and will allow smartphone users to not only conduct video calls with each other, but with anyone that currently uses Yahoo Messenger for video calls on their PCs, Katz said (Messenger has 81 million users worldwide, according to Yahoo).Apple was asked for a comment, Apple said in a statement: “We do allow apps on the App Store that support video calling on WiFi and 3G networks.” but the app is not approved yet. We are waiting for an approval and will inform you soon.

Apple Removes IS Drive from the App Store
We knew it will happen, Apple has just removed IS Drive, the Bittorent app for iPhone and iPod touch form the App Store. IS Drive was approved two days ago to be used as a tool for managing ImageShack’s torrent download service.
Of course all people were wondering if Apple approved it because it's new guidelines which provided an opportunity for many developers to take advantage of this, but we have to face it, Apple has pulled this Bittorent app from the App Store.
