Specifically what happened ? when the iPad users - who running iOS 4.2 GM build - try to connect a local network, they lost the connection after minutes. According to the source Apple may be compelled to release a new update of the GM build to fix the iPad WiFi issue and it may be released internally, to a few selected developers .
