Google is Planning to Release 60x Faster Chrome 7 to Hit IE9 and Firefox 4

In case you are living under a rock and don't know yet, last week Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 9 beta with full hardware acceleration of all HTML5 content, improve canvas speed. Also Mozilla has released Firefox 4 beta last month with Panorama feature and more. So, Google is planning to Release Chrome 7 to hit back at IE9 and Firefox 4.

Well, Microsoft's IE9 is still in beta, so we can't judge on it now. According to Neowin, IE9 still wins in canvas speed demos but Chrome 7 is greatly improved over previous versions. Also, take in mind that Chrome 7 is in early stages and not released yet for non-developers but it promises to show up to 60 times speed improvement over the current version of Google Chrome. The new version picks the best API graphics with support for Windows XP, Vista, 7, Mac OS and Linux.

This video was showed by Google in a series of demos, showing ranging from a aqurium to 3D walls of photos. The demo really shows what can you do with 2D accelerated APIs in chrome.

BREAKING: Internet Explorer 9 Beta Available for Download

Yeah, Internet Explorer 9 now available for download, but for Windows 7 / Vista users only, as we told you this morning, IE9 brings a bunch of new features that satisfies all users especially Windows 7 users. Microsoft reinvented Internet Explorer 9 with a group of partners including eBay, Hulu, CNN and Amazon who have all created special sites for the new functionality.

Microsoft Reinvents Internet Explorer 9 Beta, Are you Ready for More Beautiful Web?

Microsoft is set to officially unveil Internet Explorer 9 beta today in San Fransisco and will make it available to public. The company will unveil a bunch of new features you have never seen. With Internet Explorer 9, Windows 7 users will be able to pin their favourite sites and web apps with a high quality icon to the taskbar and start menu.

Internet Explorer 9 will satisfy Windows 7 users. Beside the ability to pin sites and web apps to the taskbar and start menu, Web developers will be able to create specially designed pages that allow end users to take the site URL and pin it as a button on the Windows 7 taskbar. Like Google.

Internet Explorer 9 also adds full support for HTML5. It takes the advantage of the power of GPU and graphics rendering for all pages. Web developers will be able to exploit this power in ways they already know (CSS, DHTML, JavaScript).

Microsoft will unveil Internet Explorer 9 beta later today, with a group of partners including eBay, Hulu, CNN and Amazon who have all created special sites for the new functionality. Internet Explorer 9 Beta Leaked [Video]

We are just a week away from Internet Explorer 9 beta announcement on September 15th in Las Vegas, and here we got our hands on a video showing Internet Explorer 9 beta. A few days ago we saw a screenshot of IE9 published on a Russian site with full details and features. Now, you have to see this video.

It was pretty cool that Microsoft could keep tight lid on IE 9 development and final beta build to prevent any leaks. But I think this is the biggest leak that may happen to any browser or any software, a video showing it in action with it's logo and interface.

The video embedded at the bottom is reportedly offering a sneak peek at the Beta development milestone of Internet Explorer 9, which is scheduled for launch next week at the “Beauty of the Web” event in San Francisco.

You may notice that the interface shown above is the same interface which we showed you before in a screenshot. So can Microsoft regain the power over Chrome, Firefox, Opera with Internet Explorer 9?

Is This the New Internet Explorer 9 Interface?

We may be entering in a browser war from Opera, Mozilla, Google, and Microsoft! ZDNet has managed to snap a screenshot and some features of the next Internet Explorer 9 from a Microsoft Russian post that has been pulled and deleted! The post was showing the following screenshot of Internet Explorer 9 interface,

Here's some snippets that ZDNet could take from the Russian site before it has been deleted, we summed up them here:

• There will be a new, simplified navigation bar with IE 9
• There will be some navigation tools for commonly used functions
• There will be provisions for “recognized,” or “protected,” sites which will allow users to go straight from the Windows taskbar to these sites without having to open IE first.
• There will be “tear-off tabs” which seems to be a simple way to line up two different web pages side by side on your screen.
• Browsing will be directly from the Windows Taskbar into IE9.

Internet Explorer 9 beta should be launched on September 15th. So is it really a big browser war especially with Mozilla Firefox 4 beta that allowed Panorama and Sync in the latest beta? [via TheNextWeb]

Microsoft could Regain the Edge over Chrome and Firefox with the Upcoming Browser?

Microsoft from London has just said in a tweet that they will bet on browsers with the new upcoming Internet Explorer 9, they Said that they may Regain the Edge over Google and Mozilla Firefox with this browser next year.

I think it will handle a lot of new features so it can regain the edge!

Ryan Gavin said in an interview Microsoft was generating a high level of interest in Internet Explorer 9 from the external software developers who are key to its success, thanks to new capabilities and a new, more open approach towards such third parties. (Msnbc.com is a joint venture of Microsoft and NBC Universal.)

Hope they really can do it with this New Browser - Also I don't like Internet Explorer but I hope for them to Regain the Edge!!
